Sessions available in Thai and English
Hi, I'm Bua. I'm a psychotherapist who uses a variety of creative methods to help you explore your thoughts, feelings and relationships. I prioritise creating a safe space where you are comfortable navigating difficult aspects of your life, in ways that include but are not limited to talking. I use drawings, art-making, movement, music and metaphors to help us communicate and process what is not easily conveyed by words.
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Low self-esteem and confidence
- Relationship issues
- Integrating mind-body for self-improvement (including for actors/performers)
- Emotion or stress-related physical pain
- Neurodiversity
- Work and study related stress and anxiety, such as handling pressure and expectations, struggling to fit into the environment, finding healthy coping strategies, etc.
My sessions are person-centred and guided by what the clients need. We may work towards specific goal(s), or explore whatever issues you bring to sessions in an open-ended way. Some sessions may feel like a safe space to pour out what's in your heart so we can process it creatively, some sessions may be a calm and gentle holding so you could be nurtured and regain strength, some sessions may be an exploration into your identity, while some may be a dive for a deep insight into your complex situations. Whatever you arrive with, I will be sure to meet you where you are, and walk alongside you in your journey.
I hold a Master's degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy (MA) from the University of Derby. I am a Registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist with the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy UK (ADMP UK).
My professional background spans diverse settings and life stages. I have worked with students navigating complex SEMH needs and neurodivergence; provided therapeutic care for older adults living with dementia and complex mental health conditions; supported young children processing parental separation and emotional challenges at the Child Contact Centre; worked with vulnerable women from diverse ethnic backgrounds at the Women's Centre; and supported body-based performers and actors in their body-mind integration.
I was born and raised in Bangkok. However, I have had the opportunity to live in the USA, Japan, and the UK. I have learned to adapt to and appreciate the diversity of these uniquely different cultures, lifestyles and people.
Like many, I came over to the UK as a student and progressed to the working world. Even with the experience of living in different countries, it was not easy nor smooth. I suffered much of what Thai people abroad had to go through — the pressure, expectations, self-doubt and insecurity, to name a few. And I know how much empathetic support has got me through the toughest times, in this unfamiliar place where you are stripped of your community, friends and family.
As a Thai psychotherapist in the UK, I'd like to support those who are figuring out their ways in this country, wherever they are on their life journey.

Movement & Embodiment
The body holds what the mind sometimes cannot. Movement becomes a way of listening to and shifting your inner world.
