Born from lived experience.
Reflection Room was founded by three Thai therapists trained and accredited in the UK. We are BACP-registered and ADMP UK-registered practitioners offering online counselling in Thai and English for individuals across the UK, Thailand, and worldwide. Our name speaks to what we believe therapy should be: a quiet, safe space where you can slow down, look inward, and come back to yourself.
We know first-hand what it means to be Asian in the West. To carry the cultural expectations of where you come from, while adapting to the norms of where you live. To grieve home quietly. To feel caught between two worlds, never fully belonging to either.
We created this practice because we believe that people should be able to access therapy with someone who truly understands their cultural reality, not just as background knowledge, but as lived experience.
While our hearts are with the Thai community in the UK and abroad, we warmly welcome all Asian individuals who feel that cultural understanding matters in their healing journey.
Therapy, and more.
Alongside our online therapy work, we are committed to psychoeducation and Asian mental health awareness. We believe that talking openly about mental health, what it is, why it matters, how to seek help, is itself a form of healing. Through our social media, blog, and community workshops, we aim to reduce stigma and open doors for Thai and Asian communities worldwide.
The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.
