At Reflection Room, we offer both talking therapy and arts psychotherapy online. These are different pathways into the same inner work, and having both available means we can tailor the approach to what suits you best, not the other way around.
We will work together to explore what is most helpful for you whether that means practical tools to better navigate daily life, or gently exploring deeper layers. We always follow your lead.
Talking therapy is a space for conversation at your own pace. We listen, we reflect, and we work through things together. There is no agenda you need to arrive with and no pressure to have it all figured out. We simply start with what feels present for you.
Depending on what feels helpful, we might look at practical strategies to support you day to day, or we might gently explore the deeper layers beneath what you are experiencing. This could include patterns in relationships, the influence of past experiences, or the ways that culture and family background have quietly shaped how you see yourself and the world. Nothing is forced. We follow your lead.
Arts psychotherapy uses creative processes, movement, visual art, music, and other expressive forms, as the language of therapy. You do not need any artistic skill or experience. The creative process itself becomes a way of exploring and expressing what words sometimes cannot reach.
This approach can be especially powerful for those who find it difficult to talk about their experiences, or whose feelings live more in the body than in language. It offers a different kind of access to the self.
You are the expert on your own life. A warm, non-judgmental space where you set the pace and direction.
We work with an understanding of how trauma affects mind and body. Safety and your comfort are always the priority at every step.
Drawing from a range of talking and creative approaches to best fit your individual needs.
Building compassion toward yourself to work through guilt, shame, and harsh self-criticism.
Exploring how early relationships shape present emotional patterns and ways of relating to others.
Identifying and gently shifting unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns using practical, evidence-based tools.
The body holds what the mind sometimes cannot. Movement becomes a way of listening to and shifting your inner world.
Drawing, art-making, music, and metaphor. Not for the result, but for what the creative process reveals.
During your assessment, we will talk about how you tend to process things, what feels comfortable, and what you are hoping for. Together we will find the right approach and the right Thai-speaking therapist for you. Sometimes we even integrate both over time.
